Amazon Prime Voucher FAQs

1. What is an Amazon Prime Voucher?
   An Amazon Prime Voucher is a prepaid payment instrument that can be used to purchase Amazon Prime memberships (3-months or 12-months or Prime Shopping edition) or Amazon Pay Anytime Gift cards (inactive zero value gift card) from Amazon. in. An Amazon Prime Voucher has an expiry of 12 months from the date of activation, subject to applicable terms. An Amazon Prime Voucher cannot be transferred or cancelled once it is issued (please reach out to the issuer (Pine Labs) for any assistance in this regard).
2. How to use an Amazon Prime Voucher?
   A Prime voucher can be used to buy only 3- and 12-month Amazon Prime memberships or Prime Shopping edition or Amazon Anytime Gift cards on Amazon. When a voucher is eligible on an order (where all items in the cart are eligible for the specific voucher), Prime Vouchers will show up as a payment option in payment method selection page. To use ‘Amazon Vouchers’ for the purchase, select it on the payment method selection page. If the voucher value is not sufficient, you can pay the remaining balance using other payment options available on the payments page.
3. I don’t have enough Prime Voucher balance to pay fully for my Prime membership, can I use it with other forms of payment to complete my purchase?
   If the voucher value is not sufficient, you can pay the balance using other payment option available on the payments page on Amazon.
4. Are existing Amazon Prime members also eligible for this offer?
   Existing Amazon Prime members can extend their Amazon Prime membership as per the Amazon Prime terms and conditions, by redeeming a Amazon Prime Voucher under the following conditions:
   1. Existing Amazon Prime members can only extend their Amazon Prime membership using Amazon Prime Voucher only once during their Amazon Prime membership tenure.
   2. Amazon Prime member who have availed Amazon Prime service through a Telecom plan (Airtel, VI, Jio etc.) are not eligible for this offer.
   3. Customer on low tiered plans like PVME, Prime Shopping edition can use it for upgrading to higher tiered plans. For e.g. PVME to Prime or Prime Shopping edition to Prime.
5. I am on an Amazon Prime membership plan through my telecom operator, can I extend my Amazon Prime membership through Amazon Prime Voucher?
   Sorry. This is not applicable for customers who are Amazon Prime members through a Telecom operator.
6. I have already added Amazon Prime Voucher to my Voucher Balance, but I am being asked to purchase Amazon Prime at a later date. Why?
   Existing Prime members can extend their Prime membership using their Prime Voucher unless they have already extended their Prime membership earlier. In this case they can add Prime Voucher to their Voucher Balance anytime, but will be allowed to extend their Prime membership only once their current Prime membership ends. Example: If the current Amazon Prime Membership expires on 28th May 2023, existing Amazon Prime member will be able to add the Amazon Prime voucher to their Voucher Balance anytime before 28th May 2023. But they will be able to use the voucher to purchase an extension on their Amazon Prime membership only after 28th May 2023.
7. I already have INR 1499 balance in my Voucher Balance and not able to add more Amazon Prime Voucher. Why?
   Customers can add a maximum balance of INR 1499 (equivalent to price of a 12-month full Prime plan) to their Prime voucher balance. We request you to use the existing balance and become Prime member before adding more Prime Voucher to Voucher Balance.
8. I am on Prime tiered plans like PVME, Prime Shopping edition, can I use Amazon Prime voucher to upgrade to higher tiered plans?
   Customer on low tiered plans like PVME, Prime Shopping edition can use Amazon Prime voucher for upgrading to higher tiered plans. For e.g. PVME to Prime or Prime Shopping edition to Prime. While doing Prime plan upgrade, Prime Vouchers will show up as a payment option in payment method selection page which you can select for making payment
9. Why am I not being allowed to use my Prime Voucher balance while purchasing my Prime membership along with another product on Amazon?
   Amazon Prime Voucher is a prepaid payment instrument that can be used to purchase only Amazon Prime memberships or Amazon Anytime Gift cards from Amazon. Since Amazon Prime Vouchers are applied on the entire cart and not on individual items in the cart, you will not be allowed to use your Amazon Prime Voucher in a mixed item order, i.e. a cart which has at least one non-eligible item. You can however purchase an Amazon Prime membership (3 month or 12 month) with an Amazon Prime Voucher by visiting www.amazon.in/prime and selecting either 3 month or 12 month Amazon Prime membership.
10. Can I cancel my Amazon Prime Membership?
    No, once Prime membership is activated via Amazon Prime voucher, it can’t be cancelled and non-refundable.
11. What happens at the end of my Amazon Prime membership period?
    At the end of the Prime membership, you will stop enjoying all Prime benefits. You may purchase any Amazon Prime membership plan directly from Amazon to continue enjoying all Prime benefits.
12. What all types of Amazon Anytime Gift cards can be purchased using Prime voucher?
    All types of Amazon Anytime Gift cards are eligible for purchase via Prime voucher. Please refer to Anytime Gift cards store for more details.
13. Can I use Prime voucher to load amount in Amazon Anytime Gift cards?
    Please note Amazon Anytime Gift Cards are physical cards/ empty inactive zero value instruments that can not be loaded using Prime voucher. However, you can load it using debit/credit cards, UPI, NB etc. after the purchase.
14. Is refund allowed for cancelled/returned orders placed using Prime voucher?
    No, orders placed using Prime voucher as payment are not eligible for the refund.
15. I lost my Amazon Prime Voucher / Amazon Prime Voucher not working – whom should I contact?
    Please contact your partner from whom you have received the Prime Voucher for help.
16. How do I purchase Amazon Prime Voucher?
    Amazon Prime Voucher is currently only available via the Corporate Channel. Once available for retail sale, look out for a section for Prime Vouchers under Amazon Pay.Amazon Prime Voucher -Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to Amazon Prime Voucher issued by Pine Labs Private Limited (Pine Labs) under the brandname of Qwikcilver and co-branded with Amazon Pay (India) Private Limited (“Voucher”).

• The Amazon Prime Voucher is a prepaid payment instrument that can be used to purchase Amazon Prime memberships (3-month or 12-month memberships or Prime Shopping edition) or Amazon Pay Anytime Gift cards on Amazon in. The Amazon Prime Voucher has an expiry of 12 months from the date of activation, subject to applicable terms. An Amazon Prime Voucher cannot be transferred or cancelled once it is issued.
• Credit and Debit Cards issued outside India cannot be used to purchase Amazon Prime Voucher.
• Beneficiary of the Amazon Prime Voucher can apply the 13-digit numeric code on https://www.amazon.in/vouchers and add the voucher balance in his/her Amazon.in account.
• Amazon Prime Voucher must be used only towards the purchase of eligible products mentioned above, on Amazon.in only. The Voucher including any unused Amazon Prime Voucher balance, expire one year from the date of issuance of the voucher.
• Voucher cannot be transferred for value or redeemed for the cash.
• Pine Labs, Amazon or their affiliates are not responsible if a voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
• Existing Prime members are not eligible for the Amazon Prime Shopping Edition. They will not be able to redeem the Amazon Prime voucher to purchase the Amazon Prime Shopping Edition plan.

Redemption Conditions:

• Can be used to purchase 3 months, 12 months Prime membership, Prime Shopping edition plans from Amazon.in.
• Cannot be used to purchase Prime membership plans if customer has mobile carrier activated Prime subscription on the same Amazon account.. Prime subscription is a product offering of Amazon Seller Services Private Limited.
• Can be used to purchase physical Amazon Pay Anytime Gift cards (inactive zero value gift card) from Amazon.in. Anytime Gift Cards are physical cards/ empty inactive zero value instruments that can be purchased by a customer and subsequently loaded using card, UPI, etc.. The redemption of the voucher would only be towards the cost of purchase of such physical card only. Amazon Prime voucher cannot be used to load value/balance into the Anytime Gift Card.
• Cannot be used to purchase any other physical or digital product on Amazon.in including but not limited to the below:

(i) Cannot be used to purchase products on ‘Global Store’ on Amazon.in, recharges, all kinds of bill payments, all kinds of ticket bookings and financial products on Amazon.in.
(ii) Cannot be used to purchase Amazon Pay gift cards (pre-loaded) on Amazon.in

• Cannot be used to pay for mixed item order if the order has at least one non-eligible item.
• Amazon.in logo/trademark is an IP of Amazon or its affiliates and the Pine Labs trademark/logo is an IP of Pine Labs.
• Amazon.in conditions of Use apply to Voucher. Pine Labs reserves the right to change these Voucher terms and conditions from time to time in its discretion and without prior notice to you. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
• Vouchers are normally delivered instantly. But sometimes due to system issues, the delivery can be delayed up-to 24 – 48 hours.
• No returns and no refunds will be processed on gift cards, e-gift cards and vouchers.
